The Alcohol & Drug Prevention Coordinator
is a State funded position employed through Tillamook Family Counseling
Center.
The focus of the coordinator is to bring prevention awareness, strategies and activities to Tillamook County in regards to underage drinking, drug use, and tobacco use. This is done through a variety of different activities, including: school based programs and groups, community education, community coalition, parenting classes, youth surveys and providing alcohol and drug prevention resources to parents and caregivers throughout the community.
All funding for the various prevention activities, classes and programs comes from grants, scholarships, Tillamook Family Counseling Center, the Commission on Children and Families and generous donations and contributions from citizens throughout Tillamook County.
